Facility Manager

Job Description:

We are looking to hire an experienced facility manager to maintain factory buildings, production lines, equipment and premises to ensure that a works place is safe and functional. His duties include negotiating contracts with service providers, inspecting facilities to meet safety regulations and coordinating renovations and updates.

To be successful as a facility manager, you should demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills with exceptional communication, management, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Delegating cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members.
  • Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed. Develop and maintain logs for all type of maintenance.
  • Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders.
  • Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff.
  • Ensuring that factory machinery is in good working order.
  • Create and maintain facility documents, warehouse, yard documentation.
  • Participate and lead projects as directed by operations manager. Provide Analysis as required by Management.
  • Preparing facility reports and submitting them to key decision-makers.
  • Regularly inspecting the office, factory, warehouse premises.
  • Motivating facility workers to continually achieve targets.

Facility Manager Requirements:

  • Advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of electricity, plumbing, HVAC and other building systems and familiar with mechanism of production machines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, vendors, and team members.
  • Great time management, organization, and prioritization abilities
  • Keen attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills
  • Sound knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to multitask.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
